Abstract
In the early period,the majority of Buddhism scriptures with Chinese version came from Central Asia and Chinese Western Regions,which were written in Sanskrit and Hu languages. Meanwhile the translators of the early Buddhist scriptures were some eminent monks from the above-mentioned places. And the opening of the southern sea route offered opportunity for some Buddhist scriptures in Sanskrit or Pali to be transmitted from India and Sri Lanka into China.
