Abstract
Duloxetine is a selective reuptake inhibitor of the serotonin and norepinephrine.It is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States for the treatment of both major depressive disorder (MDD) and diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPNP).In Europe,duloxetine is also labeled for stress urinary incontinence (SUI).The pharmacological effect and clinical evaluation of Duloxetine for the treatment of MDD are summarized in this paper.
