Composition Characteristics of Seed Plant Flora of Urban Green Space in Qingdao City

Abstract
Based on field investigations in the summer and the autumn of 2013 and some correlated reference data,the authors analyzed the composition of species, genera and families, life form of species, areal-type of genera of seed plant flora of urban green space in Qingdao City, and compared the difference of areal-type genera composition of the seed plant flora of urban green space in Qingdao City, the seed plant flora of Laoshan Mountain in Qingdao City and the seed plant flora of China. The result of the research showed that there were 228 species seed plants which belonged to 69 families and 155 genera, among which there were 12 relativly big families with more than 4 species,124 genera with single species, 183 species woody plants and 45 species herbaceous plants, and there were 32 tropicareal genera, 95 temperate-areal genera, 14 widespread genera and 14 genera endemic to China. There were some compostion characteristics of the seed plant flora of urban green space in Qingdao City, such as high species diversity,many woody plant species, high differentiation in genera and species level, high areal-type diversity of genera, many temperate-areal genera and genera endemic to China.
