Abstract
This paper introduces the problem as regards that underwater vehicles' thrusters carriage how to select material. In this paper, we have applied Solidworks finite element analysis technology to analyze 1060 aluminum alloy, ABS engineering plastics and PP polypropylene. According to design guideline and results of analysis, the PP polypropylene is the most appropriate material to make the underwater vehicles' thrusters carriage.
