Abstract
The treatment of dye wastewater through nanofiltration membrane was preliminarily studied in this paper. The rejection of the dye, the salt permeation ratio and its relationship with the concentration, the effect of membrane pore size on the rejection of the dye and the salt permeation ratio, the rejection of organic, COD and chromaticity were discussed in detail. The results showed that nanofiltration could effectively reject the dye and organics of the wastewater, while permeate the water and inorganic salt (NaCl), and thus remove the COD and chromaticity from the dye wastewater. This paper would provide guide for the industrial application of the treatment of dye wastewater through nanofiltration membrane technology.
