Abstract
The effects of different plant modes on canopy structure and yield were studied.The results indicated that the optimum plant modes is Xiaosanmo under the circumstances of cotton sowing timely of earlier harvest area of the North in Xinjiang.Based on the plant modes,cotton canopy structure and dry matter accumulate is better than other densities of the community,so lint yield is higher than the other densities.And some canopy structure indexes for high-yield cotton were proposed in this paper.The suggestion was made for effective cutivate meassures of high-yield cotton and better management models of cotton production.
