Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effects of Huiyan Zhuyu Decoction in the treatment of cervical spondylosis of phlegm-heat accumulation. Methods Sixty subjects were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 30 cases were treated with Huiyan Zhuyu Decoction and control group in which 30 cases were treated with Gegen Decoction, with a course of 30 days. The clinical symptoms were observed. Results After treatment, the clinical symptoms were significantly improved in both groups(P 0.01) ,better in treatment group than in control group(P 0.05) ;the total effective rate was 100.0% in treatment group and 86.7% in control group(P 0.05) .Conclusion Huiyan Zhuyu Decoction is quite effective for cervical spondylosis of phlegm-heat accumulation.
