Abstract
[Objective]To observe the effect of autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation for treatment of cerebral hemorrhage.[Methods]280 cases of cerebral hemorrhage patients admitted to Neurology Department in hospital were as treatment group, conducted operation after evacuation of hematoma, and injection of autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell suspension 3.5ml by lumbar puncture in subarachnoid space.Selected 300 patients admitted during the same period as control group. In 6 months before and after transplantation, neural function defect assessment(NIHSS score)and activities of daily living(Barthel index),cerebral MRI,blood biochemical index, monitoring the safety of stem cell transplantation were obseved.[Results]The score of NIHSS decreased significantly after 6 months transplantation in the treatment group, compared with controls and before transplantation(P﹤0.01),Barthel indices were all significantly higher(P﹤0.01).Transplantation after 6 months of follow-up,brain MRI and blood biochemistry showed no obvious abnormality.[Conclusion]Autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation in the treatment of cerebral hemorrhage is safe and feasible, and in the near future curative effect is determined, the long-term efficacy remains to be further observed.
