Some Topics of General Interests in Today's Lu Xun Studies

Abstract

:Lu Xun is the most unique writer in modern China. His works are modern classics and his personality is a fine example for most Chinese people. Presently the challenge to Lu Xun studies mainly lies in the clearing up and distortion of Mao Zedong's comment on him. The topics of general interests in today's Lu Xun studies include Mao Zedong's conjecture on his fate in 1957, the cause of his death, rumours on his love life and some disputes on the revision of Lu Xun's Complete Works in 1981.
