Abstract
On the basis of core observation, with the help of the analysis of single well sedimentary facies, characteristica of rock types andcommposition,heavy mineral component, particle size parameter,sedimentary types and structures etc. of Guantao formation in Shuyi area are summarized, by interwell correlation of the whole area. It is considered that in the studied area the coarse clastic rock of Guantao formation is alluvial fan sediment of semiarid-humid environment or mainly of humid climate, thus the microfacies type and sedimentary mode of alluvial fan under the semiarid-humid environment of Guantao formation are summarised.
