Analysis on Decentralized Domestic Sewage Treatment Technologies

Abstract

In response to the characteristics of decentralized domestic sewage,several treatment technologies for decentralized domestic sewage were introduced,with the characteristics,applicability,and engineering economic analyzed and compared.The technologies including biogas purification tank,constructed wetland,viewing earthworm ecological and high rate algal pond were characterized by low investment,operating cost,and convenient management.The membrane bioreactor and integrated treatment equipment had the higher operating cost,and the need for professional management,which could be used in the area with higher economic development and stricter effluent qualities.Meanwhile,the problems of decentralized domestic sewage treatment technologies which need to be resolved in the future were proposed for further treatment on the decentralized domestic sewage in our county.
