The Divergence on Empiricism and Rationalism of the Essential Issue of Philosophy

People didn't understand the essential issue of philosophy that is the relation between material and knowledge at initial stage of human history. People have developed a long term process to the knowledge of the essence of philosophy. Philosophy has been divided into empiricism and rationalism in modern times of western philosophy. The result of two groups controversy is that people's knowledge have a new standard on relation between material and mentality and gradually understand that mentality is the role of people's head and the reflection of objective material.
