Abstract
Mesoporous molecular sieves MCM-41 is synthesized by hydrothermal method using tetraethylorthosilicate(TEOS) as silica source and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB) as template.The effects of CTAB,H2O,NaOH,the crystallization time on synthesis of mesoporous molecular sieves MCM-41 are studied in detail.The synthesized compounds are characterized by X-ray diffraction and the morphology are investigated by SEM.The results show that the best reaction conditions is CTAB/TEOS=0.6,H2O/TEOS=100,NaOH/TEOS=0.24,crystallization time 72 h.The morphology of compound is short-ball clubbed.The particle size is about 0.1 μm and irregular.
