Properties of Quadratic Trigonometric B-spline Curves

Abstract

In this paper,a set of trigonometric basis functions is obtained via the method of creating spline basis functions,and the properties of this set of trigonometric basis functions is further analyzed. Then,a kind of new quadratic trigonometric B-spline curves is obtained via this set of trigonometric basis functions. This new kind of quadratic trigonometric B-spline curves is further studied with the method employed in the study of uniform Bspline. At last,some properties of this kind of new quadratic trigonometric B-spline curves are formulated.
