Abstract
A theoretical model of heat productivity of traveling wave type ultrasonic motor was established by its dynamic principle. It was determined that the heat of traveling wave type ultrasonic motor generated from piezoelectric ceramic and friction. The temperature characteristic experiment on ultrasonic motor was completed to certify the theoretical model. The experiment approved that the theoretical model could reflect the heat generation of traveling wave type ultrasonic motor correctly.
