Tree Species Selection for Urban Greening of Kunming City

Although Kunming is rich in abundant plant variety resources under advantageous natural conditions,and it has large potential for adventitious flowers woods,there exist problems in current urban greening including unitary tree species,unreasonable structure,monotonous ornamental types,poor landscape effect,insufficient shade from sunlight.Several principles for species selection are proposed and a list of species in forms of arbor,shrub,bamboo and liana are provided.
