Abstract
The method of transforming 3D model into 2D views based on AutoCAD2002 is effective on the computer aided design and computer aided drawing. The paper presents the method to realize the transforming by means of real examples. In the method, the 3D model is projected onto different projective skeleton map for making the projective outlines by using the commandSolprof, these profiles are cut and pasted into a new drawing file to edit. The views, section views and axonometric projection of 3D model could be abstained. By the method, the 2D views are accorded with the projection of 3D model, so there could be fewer errors in views. It would bring convenience into engineering using and teaching.
