Abstract

As a novelist of the modern era, Kafka is a brave explorer of possibilities and impossibilities of being. Kafka's spiritual stand is to pursue the holy being which broadly permeates his value orientation, principle of practice and structure of learning, as well as the characters in his novels. This paper will thoroughly probe and discern the relations between Kafka and his spiritual tradition. Thus Kafka's meaning of modernity will naturally present itself.
