Survey on Being Mongolian of Xiyu People in Yuan Dynasty

Many Xiyu people moved their residence in Mongolian grasslands after the Mongolian Empire west expedition in the early of thirteenth century. They influenced deeply on political, military and culture of Yuan Dynasty. After 100-year combination, not only a lot of people melted into Zhongyuan culture and became Chinese, but also a great number of Xiyu people accepted Mongolian culture, identified Mongolian-nationality commonwealth because of Mongolian nobles' high political status and superiority of Mongolian culture. Finally, they became one part of Mongols. During the Beiyuan period, there were a lot of tribe names of Xiyu ethnic groups in every part of Mongolia. In fact, they appeared as a native Mongols and took part in Beiyuan's political, military activities.
