Enhance the Scientific Research Levels by the Innovation of Scientific Technology——Pondering on the Practice of Lanzhou University

The innovative work of colleges and universities should follow form: Depending on subjects to form platform,depending platform to cultivate scientific research team,depending on scientific research team to assume key scientific projects,and depending on key projects to improve platform and hierarchy of subjects.In the Technological and Social Science Conference at Lanzhou University in January,2007,a series of consistent principles in innovative work are put forward: The realization of technological innovation must follow a way with its own characteristics,must construct most influential subjects,must develop subjects to first-class level,must exert advantages in subjects to realize innovation,must strengthen development of interdisciplines,must form technological innovation teams to create key scientific research base with its own characteristics,and must rely on innovation of scientific technology to realize goals of an advanced comprehensive research-type university.
