Rare and Endangered Plants in Lishan Nature Reserve,Shanxi and Their Conservation

Abstract

Lishan Nature Reserve,belonging to Zhongtiao Ranges,is situated between 35°16′30″─35°27′20″N and 111°51′10″─112°5′35″ E in southern Shanxi.It is now known that there are 972 species of seed plants,belonging to 491 genera and 123 families in the reserve.It is one of the richer area of rare and endangered plants in Shanxi,including state 1st level key protection plant Taxus mairei,state 2nd level key protection plants Cercidiphyllum japonicum and Glycine soja.Moreover,there are Shanxi Provincial level key protection plant 22 species.Based on the situation and problems of the rare and endangered plants,the endangered causes of those plants were analyzed,the strategies for the protection of those plants were raised.
