Clinical Analysis of 29 Cases with Parotid Gland Duct Injury

Abstract

Objective To explore a method for the early diagnosis,detection and treatment of parotid gland duct injury.Methods Various clinical parameters were analyzed in 29 patients with parotid gland duct injury.Results Kinds of parotid gland duct injury often occurred in the masticatory muscle segment and the injuries were usually caused by traffic accidents and the sharp instruments.The accuracy of diagnosis was improved by oral pantomography.Anastomosis of parotid duct is the normal treatment.Conclusion The best treatment of parotid gland duct injury is the early diagnosis and stage Ⅰ operation.Oral pantomography and sialography is very significance in the diagnosis and treatment of parotid gland duct injury.
