Research Overview on Carbon Sequestration of Forest Ecosystem

The carbon sequestration,carbon economy,research methods of forest carbon sequestration and research progress in China were described in this paper,and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods were also briefly analyzed.It was pointed out that the integrated use of various methods for estimation of carbon stocks should be carried out in the forest ecosystem carbon storage research,the combined effects of multiple factors should be considered when estimating carbon stocks.Finally,the effort direction of economic development of the forest carbon sink and key issues of forest carbon sequestration research direction in China were put forward.
