Abstract

The early-mature spring maize hybrid Longdan20is crossed by self-selecting inbred HR25(Female)and Longkang11(Male)by Maize Research Center,Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences.It showed high yield,good quality,diseases resistance,good adaptability in the plot and performance test during1996～2002.The average yield is8500～9000kg /ha.The suitable density planting in the proper early-mature spring maize area is50000plants per hectare.
