Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the incidence of reflux esophagitis after subtotal gastrectomy.Methods:Two hundred and thirty-six patients after subtotal gastrectomy were enrolled for study.The controls were the other patients without operation,18 658 cases.Results:The incidence esophagitis after subtotal gastrectomy was 10.59%,which was higher than that of the controls(P0.01).Conclusion:The incidence of reflux esophagitis may be higher after subtotal gastrectomy.
