Abstract

The purification process to rapidly produce a large of plasmid had been developed and an in vivo electroporation device was made.Plasmid vector drat encode reporter Enhanced Green Fluorescent Protein(EGFP) was transfered of into rabbit skeletal muscle by electroporation.Reporter gene result showed that plasmid DNA transfer in muscle fibers was very efficient by in vivo electroporation.According to the result,the female lambs and pigs were injected with pM-GHRH plasmid vectors that encode growth hormone releasing hormone(GHRH) followed by electroporation.The result indicated that the intermuscular injection pM-GHRH plasmid mediated by electroporation does not have the remarkable influence on lamb and pig growth.
