Analysis of chronic suppurative otitis media in 126 ears of children

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical feature and complication to improve the diagnosis and treatment level for chronic suppurative otitis media of children. Method: A retrospective analysis of 126 ears with chronic suppurative otitis media was carried out. Result: The complication was seen more in children than that in adults. The occurrence rate of cholesteattomaous in pars flaccida was 68.9%. The misdiagnosis rate of cholesteattomaous before operation was 15.6%. Conclusion: Flexible measures should be taken according to concrete conditions in the treatment of children’s chronic suppurative otitis media.
