Abstract
The teaching of computer as a compulsory course for college students is an important part of higher education, and therefore the reform with the purpose to improve the course is vitally necessary. By studying the current teaching situation of colleges, this paper analyses the contradiction faced, and puts forward some suggestions for the reform of the teaching of computer.
