Abstract

The current Jamaica global currency system still holds the difference between the position of the reserve currency and non-reserve currency. This paper shows that this differential currency system will lead the developing countries to suffer a comparatively large foreign exchange rate fluctuation range or pressure except for the Triffen Problem and the income effect from the exchange rate change of reserve currency. This defect is quite unfavorable for developing countries with a fast increase in the world trade and investment position.Making the qualified developing countries' currency become the reserve currency or make developing countries become an integrative economy can ameliorate the unfair situation, and publishing a non-differential global currency system, for instance, applying the super-sovereignty currency,is the fundamental solution.
