Abstract
According to the practice of urban planning in mountainous regions, based on the experience in decision on small town's development, traffic planning and downtown designing etc, some proposals on general program and concrete rules in town planning were given, hightlighting the distinctive characteristics of town planning in mountainous regions, different from those of city planning.
