Abstract
Objective To study the change and significance of heart rate turbulence(HRT)in patients with Chronic Heart Failure(CHF).Methods 30 of CHF patients and 30 structurally normal patients with ventricular premature contraction were included.Compute TO and TS by 24 hours Holter recordings. Results To in CHF patients were significantly higher than the control group(0.05±0.58% VS-2.22±1.01%,P0.001),while TS were significantly lower than the latter(5.89±2.65 ms/RR VS 7.36±1.34 ms/RR,P0.01).Conclusion HRT are decreased in patients with CHF.HRT might be used as a novel index for the determination of severity of CHF.
