Use value is the regulation of society and established through history. Therefore, any use value reflects a certain sort of economical relation. The essential of the general use value of commodity is the exchange of productivity basing on individual ownership of factors, as well as the interdependent of supply and demand. The viewpoint that the general use value of commodity determines the exchange value is not absolutely opposed with the Labor Value Theory of Marxism.
