Abstract

Some common processing methods in WEDM of mould parts with asymmetric tolerance dimension,basic dimension method and difference dimension method,were analyzed.And the problems and deficiency of the two means were pointed out.An optimized method,extremal dimension method,was proposed in which the calculation is simple and the processing precision is easy to be implemented.
