Regression Analysis of Measurements and Weight in Adult German Merino Ewes

Abstract

The present study analysed the correlation between body size and body weight in adult German Merino ewes,based on Path Analysis.The results showed that body size had a positive correlation to body weight,the major parameters of German Merino'weight were its chest girth、chest width and body length,the results could be used as a reference information for selection and breeding German Merino in future.
