Abstract
Maxiong deposit in northwest Guangxi is a typical ting to fine grain disseminated gold deposit with the orebody strictly controlled by strata,lithology and structure,etc through relearning the geological characteristics of this deposit.Ore types include siliceous ore,clay ore,pyrite ore and arsenic ore with Au-As as the main elements assemblage.The country rock alteration is characterized by pyritization,arsenopyritization,silicification and depigmentation.Finally the indication for ore prospecting is concluded.
