Analysis of Harmonious Development for Cities——A Case Study in Wuhan City

The new leadership advances a new theory called rational development, adjusting to the requirements of building a well-off society. Rational development requires overall, harmonious and sustainable developing. Harmonious development is the basic principle of scientific developing view; City is the important carrier of harmonious development. Taking Wuhan as an object of a research project, we have made an assessment on harmonious development of it. According to the assessment results, we have concluded that comprehensive level of Wuhan has made an excellent improvement in the past ten years. But the development of environment and society, the harmony of economy and the two aspects should been improved. So, we have given three pieces of countermeasure about harmonious development of Wuhan city.
