Abstract
For those equipments operating in the remote areas,the way of monitoring is still a challenge.Laying private lines or setting up the computer monitoring terminals will be a great investment.In this paper,several technologies are compared and a remote monitoring system based on GSM is recommended.The design and realization of GSM,MCU and I2C interface are also introduced.
