Nursing experience of abdominal distension and constipation in patients with thoracolumbar spine fractures

Objective To investigate prevention and care measures of abdominal distension and constipation in patients with thoracolumbar spine fractures. Methods Sixty patients with thoracolumbar fracture in our hospital were selected, the causes of abdominal distension and constipation were analyzed, and appropriate care measures were given. Results Sixty patients were successfully relived the abdominal distension and constipation. Conclusion There are range of relevant factors cause abdominal distension and constipation. We should carefully observe and analyze in clinical work. Timely and effectively nursing intervention can reduce the extent of patients with abdominal distension and constipation, and the maximum to alleviate the suffering of patients.
