Abstract
Nano-sized solid superacid, SO 2-_4/ZrO_2-La_2O_3 was used as a catalyst to prepare borneolacetate. The optimal reaction conditions and reaction kinetics were studied. The results showed that as the mol ratio of natural borneol to acetic acid was 1∶6, the amount of SO 2-_4/ZrO_2-La_2O_3 was 6% of the mass of natural borneol, the reaction temperature was 120 ℃ and the reaction time was 8 h, the esterification yield of bornedacetate could reach 93.14%, and the reaction selectivity could reach 99.8%. The catalyst was reusable and could be regenerated. The rate equation of the reaction and its activation energy were gained.
