With the continued reform of graphics teaching system in higher education of our country,some problems about descriptive geometry are always come into notice,such as how to evaluate the position where descriptive geometry is,what function descriptive geometry plays,how to use descriptive geometry to cultivate students’ thinking abilities,whether there is an inevitable link between CAD technology and descriptive geometry,etc.The problems above are well answered in this paper.Moreover,the situations of descriptive geometry education in Europe and Japan are introduced and analyzed.
