Abstract
Steam distillation and supercritical CO2 fluid extraction were used to extract cinnamon oil to establish the optimal technica1 condition for the extraction of cinnamon oil.SFE-CO2 condition was optimized by orthogonal design.Compared with the steam distillation,SFE-CO2 showed much higher extraction efficiency. The optimized extraction factors for cinnamon oil were 45℃、20 MPa and 2.5h by SFE-CO2.Extraction of cinnamon oil by SFE-CO2 was characterized by high extraction yield and pure operation, thus it was a potential extraction and separation method.
