Analysis on influencing factors of utilization for prenatal screening service

Objectives: This study aims to find out the factors that facilitate use of prenatal screening service for Down's syndrome with the method of Logisticregression.Methods: 1416 women were investigated.Epidata2.0 and SPSS11.5 software were used to do data analysis.Results: 68.9% of women heart of prenatal screening;only 49.2% of our sample had accepted the prenatal screening for Down's syndrome;The results demonstrate that age,prenatal examination,household registraton health education,attitude toward prenatal screening,availability of health information and receiving advice from health care providers are significant predictors of prenatal screening for Dwon's syndrome.Conclusion: Women's attitude of prenatal screening should be improved,and health education during pregnancy must be reinforced.
