Abstract

In the instruction of vocal music in Chinese conservatoires of music, two principal methods of singing are imparted: national folk singing and melody singing, which are markedly different from each other in many aspects. Thus, a profound and detailed analysis of the two singing methods is of great significance to exploring singing skills and promoting the development of vocal music in China.
