Abstract
Objective:To study the value of color doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of the thyroid diseases. Methods:Of 578 cases with thyroid diseases including benign lesion (n=504),thyroid carcinoma (n=31),the color doppler sonographic characteristics were correlated with the pathological diagnosis and analyzed retrospectively. Results:The diagnostic accuracy for benign thyroid diseases was 92.1% (504/547),for malignant thyroid diseases was 83.9% (26/31) respectively.Conclusion:Two-dimension ultrasonographic features, combined with color doppler and pulse doppler parameters, correct diagnosis of thyroid lesions could be obtained.
