Abstract

When establishing finite element calculation model of three-axle bogie frame, it must be certain that the weight of each of the three axles is equal while adding restraint . The impact of the vertical stiffness of middle-axis primary spring on frame intensity has been analyzed. By doing calculation, the paper points out that the stress distribution for bogie frame is more reasonable when the vertical stiffness of the middle-axle primary spring is softer. The correction coefficient of fatigue intensity evaluation for three-axis bogie frame is also proposed.
