Abstract

This paper uses time-varying parameter model and panel data model to analyze the effects of the active fiscal policy on total factor productivity of national economy and provincial economy in China. We find that the active fiscal policy has stronger positive effects on total factor productivity of national economy, and total factor productivity and technological progress of provincial economy, but has negative effects on efficiency improving.
