Abstract

This paper presents many advantages of underbalanced foam drilling fluids.The mechanism of destabilization of drilling foams is also analysed from two aspects of internal and external causes.The stability,foaming ability,rheological property and density of drilling foams with their evaluating techniques are discussed.
