Abstract
Objective:Examine HBV-DNA content in blood of hepatitis B mothers and their newborn babies,to study interrelated of hepatitis B virus transmission from mothers to their infants with HBV-DNA quantitive PCR.guide treatment,in order to decrease transmission rate of HBV intrauterine transmission.Methods:95 couples of infected HBV pregnant mothers and their newborn babies were detected for HBV by the HBV-DNA fluorescence qualitative PCR and HBV serology. Results:There were 37 couples of infected HBV pregnant mothers who were HBsAg(+),HbeAg(+)and HbcAb(+) and their newborn babies. The HBV-DNA content in the blood of the mothers were from 6.00 to 9.90,the average HBV-DNA content in the mothers was 7.57±1.27.The transmission rate of HBV from mothers to their babies is 91.9%.There were 44 couples of infected HBV pregnant mothers who were HBsAg(+),HbeAb(+)and HbcAb(+) and their newborn babies..The HBV-DNA content in blood of the mothers were from 2.00 to 6.25,the average HBV-DNA content in the mothers was 4.13±1.64..The transmission rate of HBV from mothers to their babies is 52.3%.There were 14 couples of infected HBV pregnant mothers who were HbcAb(+) and their newborn babies. The HBV-DNA content in blood of the mothers were from 2.00 to 4.71,the average HBV-DNA content in the mothers was 3.17±1.54.The transmission rata of HBV from mothers to their babies was 14..3%.Result show that the transmission rate of HBV from pregnant mothers to their foetuses was increased in pace with the HBV-DNA content in blood of the pregnant mothers growth. Conclusion:There was positive line interrelate in the HBV-DNA content in umbilical cord blood of infant and the HBV-DNA content in blood of mother(r=0.351,P0.01).The transmission rate of HBV was markedly increased when the HBV-DNA content in pregnant mothers' serum were 6.0(increasing 39.3%)..This study showed that the transmission opportunity was marked decrease when the HBV-DNA content in pregnant mothers' serum were decreased.
