Abstract
This article firstly analyses the status quo and problems of the four leading commercial banks of our country,and considers their principal problem as corporate governance.Secondly,it summarizes the domestic and overseas studies in corporate governance(including commercial bank governance).Thirdly,based on the corporate governance theory,it analyses the deep-seated corporate governance problems existing in the four state-owned commercial banks.At last it puts forward tactics and suggestions to better corporate governance and improve performance of commercial banks in our country.
