Abstract
The synergistic extraction of U(VI) with HCBMPPT[4-(2-chloro)benzoyl-2,4-dihydro-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-thione] and TBP in toluene from nitric acid solution was studied. The result shows that the distribution ratio of U(VI) increases rapidly when the concentrations of HCBMPPT, TBP and the salting-out agent increase. Meanwhile, with the increasing of the aqueous phase pH, the distribution ratio of U(VI) also increases. The chemical composition of the synergistic extracted complexes and the mechanism of the synergistic extraction reaction were also discussed.
